  • Cannot include a clickable link in the bio. This will be a big limitation if your aim is to encourage clicks on your CTA links. Nonetheless, you can link your social media accounts like X, Instagram, and Youtube. 
  • Cannot connect to third-party management tools, preventing you from planning or scheduling content in advance.  
  • Unable to download analytics. 

Promoting as a Business Account 

A business account on TikTok is designed for brands, companies, and content creators aiming to promote products or services, offering access to advertising tools and analytics. Anyone can switch from a personal account to a business account on TikTok. 


  • Access to TikTok’s commercial audio library (say goodbye to having to look for copyright free music on the internet!). 
  • Ability to access and download TikTok’s analytics which provides data for the past 60 days. 
  • Access to TikTok’s ads manager. From here, you can seamlessly plan, post, and track the performance of your ads on the platform. 
  • Can include a clickable link in bio.
