Vantage signs MOU with Stamford International University to Further Support Students’ Financial Literacy Development

Bangkok, Thailand, 30 Jan 2023: Vantage (or “Vantage Markets”), the multi-asset broker for retail and professional traders, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Stamford International University (“STIU” or “University”). Under the MOU, Vantage will provide internship opportunities and cooperative educational support to the university students with the aim of helping them develop financial knowledge and skills through the global, award-winning trading platform. Vantage will also collaborate with STIU to create suitable programmes for the students, as well as provide academic support, including scholarships, workshops, and seminars, among others.

This MOU is the next step in the collaboration between Vantage and Stamford International University. Previously, Vantage successfully prepared and delivered a course module in basic knowledge of the forex market to help students understand how to trade in different markets. The company experts will continue to be guest lecturers and special speakers at STIU, sharing their knowledge and experience in financial management and risk management.

Dr Apitep Saekow, Stamford International University’s President, said, “Financial literacy is an important element of success in life. We are excited about this collaboration with Vantage, which will greatly benefit our students in their future. Vantage has an impressive global experience, rich education resources, and award-winning platforms, but what we really appreciate is that Vantage offers a fully transparent system that allows our students to understand the latest developments in trading. I believe our students will learn a lot from this multiyear partnership.”

“As a company, we’ve been on the lookout for strong partners where we can maximise our effort to build a more equitable world for everyone. We want to make trading and interacting with us simple, seamless, and intuitive,” said Charlie Walker, Global ESG Ambassador, Vantage. “We want to empower the next generation of Thai professionals and equip them with the right resources and knowledge. We are confident that this collaboration will give Stamford students the support that they will find relevant, and that with our help they will be able to seize the right opportunities.”

The MOU signing ceremony took place on 30 January 2023 at Stamford International University, Bangkok, Thailand.
